DESCRIPTION:Competitive Integrated Employment (CIE) helps youth with disabilities build independence\, gain job skills\, and become active members of their community. \nJoin us for this free\, self-paced course to learn how youth can work in the community\, earn at least minimum wage\, and build a future after high school. Even students with significant disabilities can succeed in the workplace with the right supports. \nThis session will cover the benefits of working\, address common fears and myths\, and share practical ways to remove barriers to getting and keeping a job. \nThis training is open from March 9\, 2026\, through April 6\, 2026. \nTraining can be accessed any time during these 3 weeks. \nRegistration Link: https://tinyurl.com/3xkvb2k2 \n* FREE self-paced online course for Tennessee parents\, caregivers\, and professionals * \nCertification of completion of 2 hours will be provided to participants who complete this training. \nPresented by PEATC in partnership with TNSTEP

DESCRIPTION:The 4th Annual FIRE (Fostering Inclusion through Resource Efforts) Resource Fair on March 24th. \nHosted by UT Southern Special Education\, this student-created event features 40+ organizations from across the state serving individuals with disabilities.
