About the Youth Leadership Academy

Empower Tennessee invites young people with disabilities ages 18-24 to participate in our Youth Leadership Academy. This year’s academy will be a series of virtual gatherings where participants have opportunities to learn, engage, and empower each other toward their future goals.

Marissa Smith-Fletcher – Independent Living Specialist and long-time lead of our YLA program – facilitates these sessions.

We meet on Zoom on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays unless noted.
