Lisa Ingram joined the TNSTEP Board of Directors in 2024 and brings both personal and professional experience to her role. She was first introduced to TNSTEP more than 20 years ago through her nephew and has since utilized TNSTEP resources in both her personal life and professional work.
Lisa’s connection to the disability community is multifaceted. She is the mother and aunt of children with disabilities and a special education teacher, giving her a well-rounded perspective on the needs of students and families.
She holds an associate’s degree in early childhood education, a bachelor’s and master’s degree in special education, and an education specialist degree in leadership. Her background in education, combined with her lived experience, allows her to approach her work with both expertise and empathy.
Lisa serves on the strategic planning committee and chairs TNSTEP’s fundraising committee. She is passionate about supporting children with disabilities and their families.
Lisa often shares this with families: While the journey can feel isolating at times, you are not alone—TNSTEP is here to support you.
