COMMITTEES: Fundraising
Rhonda Crenshaw joined the TNSTEP Board of Directors in December 2025. She was first introduced to TNSTEP in the early 2000s as both a service provider and parent seeking resources for children with disabilities. Over the years, she has developed a deep respect for TNSTEP’s commitment to supporting families and building strong, collaborative networks.
Rhonda brings more than 20 years of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist, supporting children and individuals with disabilities across the lifespan. Her expertise includes communication, cognitive, and social-emotional development, as well as navigating educational and community systems that impact access, inclusion, and long-term outcomes.
Rhonda holds a master’s degree in Speech Pathology and is a trained Nurturing Parenting Facilitator and trainer, delivering trauma-informed, evidence-based family education. She has served in leadership roles on statewide councils, including the Tennessee Statewide Independent Living Council (TnSILC) and as immediate past Chair of the Tennessee State Rehabilitation Council (SRC).
She serves on TNSTEP’s fundraising committee and is passionate about empowering families and individuals with disabilities to advocate effectively for themselves.
Rhonda shares this message with families: When visiting TNSTEP for the first time, don’t hesitate to reach out. The team is here to help meet the needs of your child and family and provide the support you deserve.
